Dan Brown offered a radical reading of Christianity through  his best seller book  'The Da Vinci Code'.  Dan Brown uses the mirror  image technique to interpret Leonardo Da Vinci's paintings.  

Artist Francis Antony Kodankandath, the retired Deputy Commissioner of Customs Department  conducted a detail investigation of Dan Brown's works using same mirror Image Technique to show that Da Vinci did not mean what Dan Brown claims.  According to Artist Kodankandath  it is a misinterpretation of  great work of Leonardo Da Vinci and Dan Brown is trying  to use the great painter to sell his book.

Artist painted around 12 paintings in this this theme to disprove the controversial claims in the best selling novel "The Da Vinci Code"   and conducted  solo exhibition at Jehangir Art Gallery Mumbai, India.   One of the 12 paintings are in the collections of the Saint. HH Pope John Paul II, and currently placed at Vatican Museum, Rome Italy

The Kerala traditional art Kathakali adaptation of the works titles 'Da Vinci Porul' was created based on  Kodankandath's theories through his paintings, by leading Kathakali Aattakkatha writer Srimathi Radha Madhavan and stages at Chavara Hall, Kerala, India.
