Tibet Dreams is a collection of used traditional Tibetan clothes representing the three regions of Tibet — Amdo, Kham and Ü-Tsang. Kodankandath wanted to portray the various hardships faced by the Tibetans in a Chinese infested Tibet. The clothing that had been collected for the paintings were those that were and had some reminiscence of their sweat and hard work.
