This painting series pays tribute to Sowmayajipadum, a 7-day ritual, that takes place in Thrissur, Kerala, India. On the 7th day of this ritual, the rain showers upon everyone. This event has been studied by various scientists from around the globe.
Somayagam is a highly spiritual and effective ritual performed as prescribed in the Vedas. This lasts for six days. This Yagam is called Somayagam.
