Sa-Ri-Ga-Ma-Pa-Dha-Ni painting Portrays the 7 notes of the musical scale in Indian classical music, Sa, Ri/Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, and Ni.  It was selected by the Reader’s Digest as its cover for the May 2001 issue.

The artist had already been studying both Carnatic and Hindustani classical music, along with sitar which additionally helped him with his artwork in this series.
